The very special reading of the pilot episode of Peter Loffredo's TV series, "CITY ROCK," performed at the Cherry Lane Theatre on December 8 was a stunning success! Directed by Paul Michael Glaser, who also played the recurring character, "Pete," and starring Natasha Lyonne as "Jennie" and Pete Postiglione as "Frank Cello," with Jason Kravitz, Willie Teacher, Jimmy Lee Gary and a remarkable ensemble cast of great New York actors, City Rock's pilot episode, "WHILE YOU'RE BUSY MAKING OTHER PLANS," brought back the life on the streets of New York in the early 1980's with laughs, gasps and tears.
